Drosophylum lusitanicum

For a long time thought to be a sundew this plant grows in Spain and Portugal in dry conditions. One that Darwin studied I was inspired to try despite it's tricky reputation. I have three mature plants from seed and now seedlings are starting to pop up all over the place, shame transplanting is so difficult. The leaves smell of honey when the sun shines. Wonderful plant and quite variable in its habit. Drosophylum lusitanicum Drosophylum lusitanicum Drosophylum lusitanicum Drosophylum lusitanicum
