Primarily Maths show
You might have guessed from the title that this is a show on maths.... A primary show for a primary audience, or to put it another way a primary maths show.
Numbers are the language of the Universe. For when you are having a maths day...or week and want something really to liven it up and get the kids attention, what you need is this amusing and inspiring show.
Demos, weird and wonderful tricks and all the sorts of odd things that make maths not only a vital subject but also fascinating and funny!
For instance, 11 x 11 = 121 and 111 x 111 = 12321 and 1111 x 1111 = 1234321, that seems miraculous but there are loads more similar things and kids love them.
Card tricks, higher lower, brainteasers, medieval siege catapults and anything else that I think will be worth trying will be found in this talk.
This talk is aimed at KS2 and yes I have a special version for KS1 as well and is
constantly updated to stay with the curriculum and because audience feedback keeps
giving me new ideas.
I also have a range activities to do in the classes after the show, so like one of my science days but a maths one!
